The race server has been set to rain all week.
Before Sunday, I'll run some scenarios with time acceleration and finalize the weather settings but you can count on a wet track for practice, qualifying, warmup and the start of the race. At some point the rain will stop, the sun will come out and the track will start drying. The plan is to force drivers to decide whether to pit for slicks or stay out on rains.
I forgot to do so Sunday night but I am going to move all of the sessions to 12:00 noon from 3:00 PM to get some more sunshine.
As far as I am aware, this will be our first ever wet race. After 8 years of Historic GT & Touring Cars, all of the regulars should be better equipped than most to deal with the low grip.

I had some time between appointments.
The race server is set to simulate a 60-minute race weather and Real Road in 12 minutes.
12:00 noon start time for all sessions, 150 minute practice (on race day the first 30 minutes will have 13 AI on a dry track to rubber in as usual) then "partially cloudy with rain" through the first 1/4 of the race after which it is "clear" (sunny no rain).
I intend to get on some time this evening, might even stream on YouTube.

I did one quick test on the previous settings and it seemed like the track developed a dry line sooner than we want.
I have the server running with new settings now, "mostly cloudy" for the first 30 minutes of practice (150 minutes total), then "mostly cloudy with rain" through the race start, then "partially cloudy with rain for the first 15 minutes, then "lightly cloudy with rain" for the next 15, then "clear" to the end of the race. I'm just going to let the server run with 13 AI for the first 30 minutes then advance it to qualifying.
I doubt that I'll run any laps but will check on the race periodically, especially the halfway point-on.
Today we did a day trip to the coast north of us to get away from the fire smoke but I expect that I'll indoors all day Sunday will keep tweaking until the weather settings seem right.

I dont know if its just me, maybe due to medium to low graphic set, the visibility is horrible for me. The water reflect like a mirror i cant barely do one lap. Not talking about the slip, I think im gonna stand out for that race I dont wanna ruin someone race. Unless I find a way to upgrade the graffic for better visibility with the rain without lagging.

Sorry to see that you are having problems, Eric.
I've noticed a number of annoying reflections from the trackside camera view but lapping the track has been fine for me.
I'm not sure which setting to adjust in graphics. It seems like the one or two that include "reflections" would be the one(s) to experiment with but that's not not necessarily true, try 'em all. Even if you can't improve it graphically, you might find that it will be better with other cars on the track disturbing the water that is on the ground and also drying the track.

I've done as much testing as I can with the rain and track. Way too many settings and variables to get this "perfect" but as far as rain, this is the lowest stress situation. We know when there will be rain and that once the rain stops, it won't start again.
I've expanded Official Practice to 2.5 hours starting from 16:00 California time.
The first 30 minutes will be mostly dry to dry with 13 AI lapping to rubber in the track.
The AI will be booted at ~16:30 and the rain will start.
The rain will continue through the remainder of practice, qualifying, warmup, race start and about the first 15 minutes of the race at which point the rain will lighten up, stopping completely by the ~30 minute mark of the race.
Between ~15-30 minutes the racing line will no longer have standing water, ~30-45 minutes should see a dry line forming, ~45-60 should be dry on the racing line.
I have no idea if it will be possible to run the entire race on wets considering tire wear when the track isn't wet. I expect that wets will be several seconds slower than slicks on a dry track.
Running the entire race on slicks would be very difficult to impossible at the beginning because of standing water and grip but tire wear should be a non-issue.
I expect that the safe approach will be wets for the start and then pit for slicks at who knows when is the right time?
Bear in mind that there is no time penalty for adding fuel, tires take longer. It seems too late to prohibit re-fueling, which would arguably have been proper for a sprint race.
