Week 2

My shoulder issue continues but is costing me good sleep more than anything else. Sudden, violent wheel movements have twanged the shoulder but otherwise the wheel doesn't seem to make things worse.
Because of it, I was thinking to reduce my sim racing activities to only the Weekend Warriors league but Week 1 with both of the current Skip Barber series was great and this week's tracks are tempting so it looks like Weekend Warriors FF1600 @ Oulton Park and probably Skip Barber F2000 and Mustang FR500S both @ Sebring Club for me this week unless I take the typical for me safe approach with most aspects of my life and rest the shoulder.

My first thought as I sat down to type this was "good week".
No wonder as I didn't do any official races which are a gamble and much more likely to cause unhappiness than the league races.
I did Time Trials and a couple of two lap AI races during the week and the Weekend Warriors FF1600 race on Sunday where I got a top 10 overall and P4 in the Masters class thanks to no big mistakes and decent pace.
I finished the week A4.60 x 2800

I saw some of those names Week 1 were in a Sim Lab PCC race.
I'll snoop around and see what they've been up to.
The fixed setup that is used in the Skip Barber Mustang Challenge drives fine with potentially a much larger grid. The only drawback for me is that it's only a 15 minute race.
I'm going to get through this week only getting ready for my league race and then will be taking three weeks off hoping that my shoulder improves without the occasional twang that I get from sim racing sudden steering inputs, really will feel like I am missing out on the two Skip Barber series. Weekend Warriors allows three drops and I don't own two of the tracks and the other is Laguna Seca which I do like more in iRacing but nowhere near my favorite for racing so I'll be at peace with missing those so long as I can get Coffey to represent Lory Electric.
I'll try to catch up with the GBR boyz in a few weeks.
