I always look forward to Week 13.
At the very least, there will be a new car and a track, the Ligier P2 and Willow Springs (!).
iRacing Companion app doesn't show any Week 13 stuff yet.
My $8 of Race Participation have not yet been turned into iRacing credits.
I'm very unlikely to buy the Ligier. Budget, self improvement above a history of dabbling in activities, already too many cars that I don't use and I'll stick to the Dalara P217, thank you, are some reasons.
Scuttlebutt is that Willow Springs will be missing The Streets of Willow and Horse Thief Mile, kinda disappointing when iRacing usually has all of a facility's layouts.
IIRC, for rF2 we got a decent Willow Springs "Big Willow" that I liked a lot. I'd expect iRacing's to be much better but with the omission of the other two tracks, I'll be in no rush to buy it, will let the series schedules influence my purchases, if any.

Yes I ran a short practice session last night at VIR & it was a blast. I also practiced the street stocks on asphalt ovals. Surprisingly good fun.

Work has been compressed due to rain delays and a couple of emergency jobs so sim time has been a low priority during the week.
I think that I completed two races with the Street Stock car. Both were great until I made a mistake.
Weekend Warriors did their apparently traditional Week 13 invitational races with the FV, FF and SRF.
I only entered the FF late Sunday morning after staying up till about 04:00 local time for basically all of the practice for my week.
Official Practice went well, top 10 on the same second as the leaders but I got held up by housemate just enough that when I started qualifying I wouldn't have enough time for the 3 alotted flying laps and I choked, more than a second off my PB and slower than I'd easily been doing for the "banker lap" that counted, 1X mistakes on what was supposed to be the one fast lap and about 10 seconds short on the 3rd lap that I ruined early on anyway.
The race was up big and then down big. I gridded 22, picked up some positions on the start, a couple more on Lap 1 due to an incident, took a bit to pass 2-4 more then was gifted a bunch about half distance that had me running P9 and the leading the S2 class. That battle was fun, close and clean until I touched the grass exiting the boot and spun across the track to T-bone the left (inside) wall, bounce back, rotate 180 degrees and come to stop within 5 feet of the outside wall. I pulled forward to get out the way and stayed there until every car passed me. Trent went on to win S2. I think that I wasn't last overall nor in-class. That's about the 4th race in a row that I've ruined for myself but happily haven't negatively impacted anyone else.
