Too much that I want to do this week and season.
Off to a bad start with a messy Unofficial Skip Barber race and even worse rushed Time Trials that have me down 0.16 Safety Rating.
I am pleased to report that I will be joining Fernando Mattos' team for the 2023 Sebring 12 Hour so the IMSA Endurance Series race (160 minutes which I think works out be 3 pit stops) teamed up with Coffey is my plan for a tune-up race this Friday evening.
Skip Barber Formula 2000 is intended to be the series that I focus on this season so I need to do that.
I'll try a LMP2 Dallara P217 series race to see what it's like. I don't love stupid fast cars for racing so the biggest attractions are that I have at least 8 of the tracks of a decent track selection and that it pays $7 Participation Credit so it plus one other maxes out the $10 credit. The Dallara is immersive and entertaining to drive while being quite easy to keep on the track but I don't expect to be fast with it any time soon.
I'll need to keep open the possibility of completing 8 rounds with Sim Lab PCC and probably Global Fanatec.
Weekend Warriors is adding the FF1600 to their Sunday morning program so that is where I intend to get my fill of that excellent car.
I had some desire to take a shot at Porsche Cup but was reminded disaster is one wheel lockup away so, nah, not this time around.
I'm holding out for GT4 Mustang so no GT4 for me this season.
Advanced Mazda has an unfavorable schedule, maybe I'll get a race in on a light week but the Skip and FF1600 are at least as much fun.
