Wow, nothing on my printed schedule for me this week.
I fulfilled my participation goal of 8 rounds in two series and Advanced Mazda's @ Sandown which I don't own and Sim Lab is at Laguna Seca which isn't my favorite to lap with a sim.
Digging through the full schedule, I see as possibilities to actually grid up for:
Global Fanatec (Cadillac CTS-V R and KIA) @ Road America
Spec Racer Ford @ Okayama

I am reminded that the Cadillac CTS-V R sounds incredible.

Cold and wet here, I expect to be on tonight starting between 18:00 and 20:00 PST.
I did a few laps earlier, stayed logged in to both Teamspeak and iRacing.
Global Fanatec Challenge @ Road America, Cadillac and maybe even the KIA Optima as it's pretty fun, too.
Base content choice would be Spec Racer Ford @ Okayama.

Well, shot myself in the foot entering a Fanatec Global Challenge race @ Road America with the no practice with the KIA after doing probably 50 laps with the Cadillac, lured in by no evident entries in the KIA class with 15 seconds left to register. There ended up being three KIAs, one them Herbert Prinz who is fast and regularly drives them.
I qualified P2 not that far off Prinz and about a second quicker than P3. The P3 guy was a little troubling on the formation lap, hanging back a long ways typical of drivers who game the rolling start, especially in FGC and PCC where the unwritten rule is wave starts for the separate classes.
On lap 1, the rear end got waggy under braking for Canada Corner. With none of the correct corrections reflexive for me with the front drive car, I went off track to and then with too much throttle abruptly 90 degree hard right when I regained the racing surface with one front tire which shot me across the track into the inside k wall for heavy body damage and 14 seconds behind P2 once I got rolling again. I finished the race with a 3X, -.03 SR, -61 iR and hopefully a lesson learned.

Squandered that one; I had good pace with the Cadillac that week and couldn't find time to get a race in before the changeover to Week 13.
I end with A4.48 x 2507
