Sim Lab PCC and Advanced Mazda are my must does this week.
I already got a Sim Lab PCC race in the books with the Mustang. I got 4Xed after a bobble by me but that actually felt somewhat lucky as Tsukaba is super busy with four classes on track together and it could have been much worse. Commendably aware and responsible drivers throughout the field but surely best with the Mustang and not having to worry about being lapped. Solstice would probably a bad idea at the Japanese track.
I also entered a race with the SRF @ Road America knowing that there was only one other entry which would render it UNOFFICIAL but still pay some SR. That was a flop, +0.03 SR for over 30 minutes spent. I treated it like a track day which was somewhat immersive but I won't be doing that again, Time Trials pay more and I'd rather concentrate hard for 10 minutes than autopilot through 30.
I've been driving the Brazilian Stock car the last couple of weeks out of boredom so I did a Time Trial with it @ Oran Park to gain +0.04 SR in 10 laps. The actual races are a two x 15 minute heat races format which with good drivers would be a lot of fun, not as good as our inverted sprints were but anything to reset the field and try again is pretty good.
I'm going to abstain from Sim Lab PCC races for the rest of the weekdays but could be up for it Sunday night if Pat and Mike (not to mention myself) are present.
Many of the series are at Road America this week. RoAm is not base content but I have an inkling that PS and MC have it. Mazdas, Spec Racer Ford, GT4 maybe others.
Routine has been to enter the Advanced Mazda race with Coffey Friday or Saturday night. Is probably what will happen that way this week, albeit if I see 20-22 entries while I'm practicing during the week, I'll probably jump in to take advantage of the opportunity and situation.
