Looks like Sim Lab PCC @ Oran Park is the most viable base content offering.
I'll almost certainly be skipping that in order to focus on the Michelin Pilot Challenge 120 minute GT4 race Friday evening.

Well, add faster PC to my wish list.
The 120 minute Michelin Pilot Challenge race was ruined by disappearing cars combined with me not knowing how to deal with it and a related glitch.
I again didn't have enough time for a qualifying lap due to the load time so I started near the back of the GT4s somewhere around P19. By the end of Lap I was up to P9 and slowly pulling away from P10 while slowly being falling back from P8 (scarcely believably another Coffey (Jessie) who is not related to Rich) and teammate Coffey in P7. The problems started when I caught up to the back of the TC cars and culminated in a collision and spin backwards down the pit entrance path. I pitted to see if any obvious programs were running that shouldn't be and to turn down some graphics.
I didn't know it at the time but somehow I was scored with an almost 8 minute lap with "interpolated crossing" noted in the lap chart. I knew during the race that I was 3 laps down but took it at face value. Post race, looking at the race results, it stood out to me that my "average lap time" was several seconds faster than the other cars that finished 3 laps down. In my experience, the "average lap time" was simply the total race time divided by the number of laps; pits stops are included. Looking through the results, sure enough, all other cars that ran the same number of laps finished in the order of their average lap times, low to high. It didn't work out horribly for me. I needed P12, finished P13 and threw away P12 on my own (well, helped by the horrendous night lighting @ VIR (worse than the base content Daytona) a lap or two from the end but I should have evidently been scored higher up.
During my extra pit stop to adjust the graphics, I reduced visible cars (?) to 10 from 20 and didn't have any further problems. It was fine at the start of the race with 20 cars visible so I don't get it.
Anyway, normal supply and demand (especially supply) can't come soon enough for me to be happy.
I'll probably be on late Sunday (after 21:00 PDT) with the Mustang FR500S @ Oran Park.

I raced the Mustang FR500S @ Oran Park on Monday, last minute decision based on convenience and what looked to be a full grid.
Qualified P2 and was a little less than one second slower on race pace than the pole sitter.
Hot shoe GG Griffin started in the back. If not for the two half-spins to a complete stop that I self-inflicted and the Jetta that bumbled out of the pits that led to an elbows flying avoidance maneuver which let GG get alongside me with some momentum, I might have held off Griffin, well, until the last lap when I got punted by a Soltice who touched the grass under braking, then ran into me again as I was returning to the racing surface. I feel very lucky to escape that with a driveable car. P3, 6X and so hot here that my moccasins had puddles of sweat.
Oh, yeah, Crew Chief Jim evidently bumped his again as he kept reporting me as P2 after Griffin passed me, which did make me settle for finishing behind Griffin sooner than I might have otherwise. I already had a 2X and was going to gain iR at that point so I was hoping to avoid any more incidents.
I ended the week A4.41 x 2150
