Mustang FR500S @ Summit Point and Spec Racer Ford @ Phillip Island seem like the safest series.
Anything @ Long Beach is a gamble, anything BSC is a gamble, I'd expect to get plowed @ the chicane with PCup @ Suzuka, Radical SR8 @ Bathurst is interesting.
Wanting to complete 8 rounds in 3 series may force me to gamble on Michelin Pilot Challenge.
Certainly will get at least one race in with the Mustang.
I'll test with the Porsche Cup. I was reminded last week that I like the car and I like Suzuka.
Radical SR8 @ Bathurst might be the best for Time Trial to maintain Safety Rating as far as corners per minute.
I'll probably do some oval racing. It would good for us here to try to get as close to each other as possible with our paved oval iRating so that we can be in the same split. I would need to buy a car to advance to a C license from my current D license and raise my SR to above 4.00 to fast track that; there's value in doing some races to raise my SR.
On the dirt oval side, I am still a rookie, need to above 3.00 SR to advance to D where we can see our iRating. I'm close, 2.90 SR, I think, so one or two cleanish races should get me there. Last week's dirt oval was fun, good sized track, not too small and not too big. No idea what Lanier is like.

I did a couple of Sim Lab PCC races with the Mustang. I spun on my own in the first one contesting P2 or P3 and the second one was impacted by a car lagging which made it hard for the other two of us that were involved to race. IIRC, I gained a small amount of SR and iR. I think that there were 6-7 Mustang entries both times which feels like more participation than times past.
During the week, I ran a dirt oval time trial until I ran out of fuel, 94 laps, I think, enough to get me out of rookie and then Pat and I entered a Super Stock dirt race Sunday night. It was a mess but I think that I still finished in the top half.
I had to complete a Michelin Pilot Race to keep the possibility of competing in 8 weeks. Coffey and I did some laps on Saturday with the BMW M4 GT4 @ Long Beach after playing with the Radical SR8 @ Bathurst and I couldn't do a lap without hitting something but after the Mustang and softer front and rear sway bars, the BMW was better and I found that I had decent pace for the few laps that I had done. I checked a previous top split race result which remarkably had zero incidents for almost if not every driver which emboldened me to enter a race.
Of course the odds caught up and I got spun at the hairpin before the green, perfectly perpendicular to and nose against the outside wall, blocking 1/2 the track. Remarkably and with astounding patience, all except one car (the TC polesitter) that was caught behind the logjam waited for me and another affected car to get going in the right direction, which felt like it took 5 minutes of back and forth a foot or two at a time.
I made a new "friend" of the crybaby polesitting TC driver which may make for some added entertainment down the road for his big mouth via private chat during the race. Amazingly, I ended up in the top half of the finishers so I gained some iR and didn't lose a crippling amount of SR as the 4X from the clusterfuck start was my only charged contact.
Sunday morning, I again entered the Weekend Warriors Spec Racer Ford race (Philip Island). Those guys are fast but I was especially not, way back somewhere in the 40s on the grid IIRC. I made another friend when I locked up at T1 on Lap 2 and bumped him off. It should have been a simple draft and pass, I was easily alongside. It wasn't that big a thing, he ran of onto the grass but he quit and instantly starting bitching at me in private chat which distraction led to me braking late for Honda corner (T4 I guess). I made the corner but I missed the apex by a foot and hit the car that was to the outside. He didn't get hurt much but I was well below the normal speed for the corner and got tagged by a car from behind who didn't have time to adjust. I had to wait for every car that was left to pass and had a lonely race from there. Coffey qualified about midfield and had a great time so that's worth it. I regret that we kinda missed out on Mazdas @ Summit Point. The Mustang is great but we probably would have had more fun as a group with the Mazdas, it's a good drive @ Summit Point.
Almost forgot. The Porsche 992 Cup car was fun at Suzuka but I just didn't have time to get somewhat competent with it. Maybe next season to get me to three series as the Brazlian Stock Cars didn't pan out.

Sounds like a "Fun" week of racing Tom. Your right should have done the Mazda at Summit Point, track was too small for the Mustang to be fun. The Street Stock's were fun on dirt once I got the hang of it.
