I started working on my usual schedule analysis to help me decide what it any new content to buy to find that there's too many series that I want to drive and I don't really need to buy any more tracks after purchasing a total of 15 over the past ~14 months.
Especially interesting to me is the new MOAR 120 minute GT4 + TC series that runs every other weekend.
I am definitely struggling with too many cars that I want to drive being in conflict with what I feel would be best for my development and my enjoyment. A pretty easy binary, go / no-go filter would be to just say no to anything with aero adjustments (Life is Too Short for Wings) which conflicts with GT4 but may make the Brazilian stock cars a contender (Coffey already bought the Toyota, says it has very few adjustments but didn't pay attention to the rear wing). Last season I had the most fun with Sim Lab PCC Mustang FR500S.

I bought and did a couple of races with the Toyota Brazilian stock car. Sure enough, no aero to adjust and minimal adjustments otherwise. I didn't pay attention but probably like Porsche Cup minus the wing settings.
I was very put off by the standard seating position which is quite far back in the car probably like real life and the number of obstructions to the view out the windshield but I was able to find a comfortable view using seat height and the [CTRL] + [F12] camera function and the windshield clutter (rearview mirror, windshield wiper, number) all but disappeared after doing some laps.
I'd liken how it drives to the Porsche Cup car as far as front lockup, cornering grip and slip angle akin to the Mustang FR500S but with a more trustworthy front end in slow corners. Good balance, four wheel drift is easy in the right corner. It's not EASY to drive but seems to be forgiving, recovers grip quickly, no ghost slides. Coffey and I had some close racing with a complete stranger.
The push to pass is highly effective and must be learned to be competitive. Need to keep track of how many more times it's available, use it wisely, back up braking markers for the added speed and be careful accelerating off of slow corners if it's still engaged. I'm lost as far any visual indication that it has been activated / is active other than there is a green light on the dash when it is available to use and a counter that shows how many instances are still available.
The cars make good noises, shifts promptly, has well spaced gears. With the base setup and Interlagos, it didn't feel very lively as far as body roll and weight transfer but maybe it shouldn't, it's not a Miata on DOT race tires.
The race format is apparently two 15 minute races (heats) with the result of Heat 1 determining the grid for Heat 2, no inversion. I can imagine drivers unwittingly missing Heat 2, happened both times last night.
I'm glad I didn't waste $12 on the car but now it's one more car that I want to race and I have no idea how to reconcile too many choices for the time that I have to spend freely.

I am interested in the car but its one more tool in the chest that might not get the proper attention. Too much stuff/not enough time. Can you still test drive it?

The test drive thing only happens when iRacing has scheduled down time but I think that will happen next week as they install Season 2. I don't remember the exact time by I think it was around 04:00 PST. Also, they don't have every car available but I'd bet a small amount that one or both of the Brazil stock cars will be available based on what I saw the last couple of times.

Just a heads up that I joined an iRacing league and expect to be able to provide details before the weekend (I wanted a green light from the admin before I start a new post).
They race Formula Vees on Saturday and Spec Racer Fords on Sunday 13:00 PDT. I know that those times aren't great for active people but I personally try to do meaningful day trips on Saturdays and sleep in on Sunday so from that standpoint Sundays 10:55 Official Practice could work. I believe that first rounds are this weekend and intend to enter the races, not going anywhere this weekend.

The iRacing league is Weekend Warriors. Search for "FV Weekend Warriors", "SRF Weekend Warriors" or "Weekend Warriors" in-game and apply for membership if you are so-inclined. They race Formula Vee on Saturday, Spec Racer Ford on Sunday and SRF, USF2000 and Mazda MX5s on Tuesday evenings (which I am praying fits my schedule). The Tuesday evening deal is a little different, requires SCCA membership or a donation to SCCA but sounds like the real deal as far as racing with actual SCCA drivers in a club environment like we used to enjoy here. I'm excited
