Blown engine for me Lap 5 or so. Oil and coolant were in the 90 degree range, I was going up a gear in a spot where I was stretching 4th in practice and qualifying, I didn't miss any shifts, didn't downshift too early anywhere. Highest revs I saw was 8615, the rev limiter is set to 8600. No clue, I beat it harder and longer in practice with a smaller radiator.
Real life disappointed feeling here, I was leading the race and doing everything right, had a solid chance at a win and would have climbed back into contention in both Pro Sprint and Overall.

Lucky for me. Trying to follow Tom at the start was fun till his demise. Gifted 1st place and from there a silent run till things started to get slippery. Spun it on exit at the last turn, hadn't before so I have no idea how. That gave Rich the lead for the last few laps. I never was able to catch him so kudos to him. Had fun here both weekends. I like Imola. Looking forward to next week. Good luck fellas!

Congrats Rich. Sad turnout but still fun to race this sim.
Not much to say. Kept it clean for the most part. I really enjoy these longer races. Tires are lasting easily. I wouldn't mind having some pit strategy thrown in to make it more interesting fuel & tire wise. Also some weather changes since its part of the game. My .02$

This is meant to be a real life sprint race distance so we are at no forced pit stops by design.
I expect that in the future we will get back to one-off true endurance races.
The Pro Sprint finale from Silverstone will be a wet race, almost certainly a wet to drying track which will force us to decide whether and when to pit for slicks.

A bad race for me. First incident, I had caught upto Mike and Rich and was working to pass Mike, as soon as got real close to him going into turn one he started lagging back and forth. This really screwed me up and I went wide off track, when trying to re-enter the track the back end snapped loose shooting me across the track into the wall. Car was wrecked so limped it back into the pits, when I came back out was a lap down but right behind Mike and Rich again so at least I could race them. My real race was Barry in 4th place 50+ seconds ahead, I eventually caught up to him many laps later. While working to pass him I over downshifted going into the chicane and blew the motor at the 45 minute mark.
