I've been wanting to try this out for awhile, it's a free download off Steam Raceroom . I got it on Thursday and had time to try it this weekend. This is just my initial observations and not an endorsement yet.

This is a DLC content race sim to really get into it like IRacing, but much cheaper, the DLC is real licensed cars and tracks. No monthly cost and cars are $4.72, tracks are $3.53 to 5.90 and Nordshleife at $9.44. There is Raceroom ranked servers weekly racing along with a Wednesday big race. There are also other hosted servers. One interesting thing I see is the availability of older to vintage cars. There are no user created mods, just like IRacing. It does support triple monitors and VR. They just had a big June update that changed the FFB( It's physics based now) , UI and physics.
So having said all that out of the box the FFB was nothing for the most part, I've tweaked on it and got it not too bad and more tweaking should get it good, some say it's better then RF2. It looks like in previous versions there was more things you could adjust. The free cars I've driven are really good and adjustable. The biggest thing so far for me is the sound, it is incredible how good the cars sound, blows every other sim away. The graphics are also very good looking. I do have to say last night I tried out one of the hill climb cars on the hillclimb track and that was unbelievable, the sensation of speed and the sound were not like anything I've experienced in sim racing before. The car was a BMW with a Judd V8.
