It's unfortunate that it's come to this but adding the AI made for much funner and immersive races than we would have had with the four humans that participated even though P2-P4 were separated by 0.1 second in qualifying.
It was maybe a little too easy for the humans to get to the front in Race 2 so we'll turn the AI up a little bit for Round 6 but still intend to keep them midpack as far as lap times. I'll keep tabs on the AI during the week with various settings and we'll have to decide Saturday night what to set them to.
KJ had a moment or two passing AI but as far I heard it went smoothly other than that.
If AI race with us they will be counted when scoring the humans. Thankfully, considering that LiveRacers wasn't configured to include AI in the race results, Mike, Pat, KJ and I all made it to the front in both races so it's easy to score but I was able to fix it for next week.
Good looking and fun track that really suited these cars and raced well.

We must have talked about this before, think that it doesn't work for Hutty, but what if we moved to Friday nights 20:00 - 21:00 Pacific qualifying?

Interesting idea to race at 11pm or so Friday night. The problem with that is I practice on Saturday night. Also I'll watch a movie or two with my wife so it goes later than 11 some nights. I'll follow if most want to change to Friday but I prefer Sunday nights.
As for the races last night, I thought the addition of the AI worked out overall. Made it more interesting with only 4 guys on track. This car really makes you think of the best way to keep the speed up through the corners, especially at this track. Great racing again.

The Friday night racing wouldn't work for me because like Mike said I also practice on Saturday night, and also do the truck driving with GBR on Friday night. I usually don't have time during the week to practice.
Disappointing turn out for the races but the AI racers were nice to have in the mix for the most part, they just didn't follow the EFNET passing rules (LOL). Race one started out ok chasing Mike but I ended up tapping Mike around, sorry Mike. After that tried to solder on but my car just went away in the middle of the race sending me backwards till I was trying to keep the AI behind me. Race two went better and had some good racing up through the pack and with real guys also.

Congrats Tom on your win and to the rest of the podium as well. Never could reach Tom, he was on another planet. Had fun though and looking forward to the next race. Good luck fellas!
