I emailed NRT last night:Hi, Dave. Sorry to report that we are having a problem that points to the server. It was fine Saturday night up to about 23:30 PST. The first report of it not working came at about Sunday 15:45 PST. We had to cancel tonight's race because no one could join. The server is up and running seemingly fine and appears in the server list but everyone got this message (embedded pic). Joining other servers is trial and error because it's impossible to know which cars and track are in use before attempting to join but I was able to join two other servers with no issues and one reported the same error. I tried deleting the player and multiplayer JSONs, deleted all of the RFMODs and made and tried new ones, ran the rF2 updater (nothing to update) and ran Steam.CMD which I have in the past seen update but no evidence of doing so today. Reply received:That is on there end...I read yesterday they were working on there matchmaker server.. It has something to do with this new Goofy end user interface from a cartoon in my mind they have come up with..

We are evidently back to normal. The server is up with the Toyotas @ Trembling Mountain. I'll test the S397 GT3s @ Sebring tonight.
Dave from NRT threw a bunch of possible fixes at it. I don't know which if any just one fix did the trick.
Consensus was to call it a season but we obviously could have a make up race this Sunday Mar 7. If we do that, though, we'll lose the Toyota Official Test / Fun Races / off weekend whatever it would have played out as. My situation hasn't changed, though. I can't race the S397 GT3 cars unless we update the server with the new ones. I'd still rather skip all that.
As to moving on to another sim with this league on our server, no thank you. We can more easily individually or as a group find another rF2 league to race to increase our and their numbers without any admin headaches, hopefully rF2 has hit rock bottom and other sims are likely to have problems, too, that we'll have no experience to help us resolve. rF2 has been a lot to put up with lately but for a good while there she was very attractive and low maintenance.
After not touching the sim for a few weeks, I jumped on iRacing with the C Sports Racer last night and of course experienced the zero effort, no problems, realistic car, beautiful, evolving track (Laguna Seca) and 11 others to race against but came away thinking that the Toyotas that we ran around with had better feel through the wheel and mindful that racing with the same drivers week in, week out is a major feature and cannot be had with iRacing.

Grrrr, I did it again.
I can put up the server with the S397 GT3 cars but I won't be able to join it, I don't have the previous versions of the cars.

Tom there is no need to run the final race, we are done and moving on. To be honest it didn't seem right that you couldn't race with us anyways.
I raced the SCCA racer last night for the first time, it's a good car. I didn't get to really experience it because I T boned a guy trying to avoid his spin on the first lap, I even went off track to avoid him and he just kept going my direction. So crumpled up fender and front end shake the rest of the whole race.
Oh and Tom I wasn't serious about switching to AC, just saying.
