I'm in the process of upgrading my setup. This is the first one, found the file online and 3D printed it. It's called De-aggressive Clutch Pedal Mod, for my G27 pedals. It needs a little breaking in to get smoother but it does feel like a real clutch pedal now. The red and gray plastic are the new printed parts, and yes my pedals are mounted inverted.

Wow. Impressive KJ! Is it sturdy enough to handle the beatings of a race? So the backing plate is 3d printed then? You installed all the lights, board & wiring? That looks good. Bravo

Yes the front body, backing plate, magnetic paddle shifters, threaded mount and G27 adaptor are all 3D printed. There are no lights just switch buttons and knobs to turn. You could assign bias, fuel mapping, traction control, ect. to the knobs if you wanted

Just wanted to add a follow up to your question Mike about sturdy enough to handle racing. It has so far for the last 2 months, there is a little flex in the mounting/ G27 shaft with more leverage, it does make some plastic noises and I'm very conscience of not putting too much stress on it. Overall I'm very happy with it and can't imagine going back to the smaller G25/27 wheel size. I have yet to fully utilize all the wheel controls, didn't need to with the AE86's.
Stay tuned to this thread for more sim rig updates I've been working on.

Nice info KJ. Lately I've been looking into different wheels & pedals since upgrading my pc is out of the question with the ripoff prices they're asking for parts. What is everyone using for wheel, pedals, cockpits, motion rigs etc. I came close to buying the Fanatec V3 pedals but dropped the ball. Pedals would seem like the best upgrade for my kit since they can make a real difference (from what I've read). I'm using a G27 wheel/pedal set along with a G25 modified clutch as a handbrake (for rallying).

Using G27 wheel base, G25 pedals with Leo Bodnar 12 bit cable and G27 shifter for the truck driving, paddle shifters for everything else. The brake pedal is the most bang for the buck upgrade going to a load cell brake setup, that is on my list of upgrades to my G25 pedals.

What is everyone using for wheel, pedals, cockpits, motion rigs etc. Logitech G27 wheel and pedals. I swapped the clutch and brake springs and have assigned the brake to the left pedal. Left foot braking with the brake pedal in the normal middle position was causing pain in my hip. I use the paddles for shifting. I'm overdue on disassembling the wheel base to try to fix / reinforce whatever is allowing ~ 0.75 -1 inch of rocking movement on the 12 to 6 o'clock plane.

Quite a project you have going there, KJ, impressive.
I would have commented earlier but didn't want to be the newest post.

Should have put this one up earlier, I've had it about 3 months now. I've installed bass/ vibration transducers, one under seat (The bigger one) and then this smaller one on the backside of the board that my pedals are mounted to. These are powered by a small 18 watt cheap stereo amp connected to the speaker output of the PC, and this is all run by SimHub as to what signals get routed to which transducer. The pedal one is giving me the most effect right now, thinking the bigger seat one may need more power. You can send a ton of effects to them and tweak the frequency's, I just use three effects, tire slip, shifting and rumble strips. I purchased all of it off Amazon for less then $50

And this is the latest project I've done. It is a button box just for the truck driving sims, there is also a new shifter knob and Hi/Low range switches on the G27 shifter but I don't have a pic of that at the moment. This is mounted to the right of my wheel and I do have a race button box on the left side but again no pic to post yet. I have several other projects for the rig I'm still working on.
