Started out great but went downhill from there. The beginning of the race, first quarter or so was chasing Hutty who was chasing Mike. At the start I got pushed out wide in to turn one so lost 3 spots. The three of us were pretty much nose to tail until Mike lost it. Then it was me and Hutty, staying tight really trying to pressure him and I lost it in turn one. That was the beginning of the end for me, from there it was mistake after mistake for me handing positions away, lost count of the off track excursions I did.

Congrats to Tom for the win and to the rest of the podium.
I see Kevin's comment about the pushing him out and I haven't looked at the replay so all I can say right now I knew he was there and I stayed as tight as possible to give room. If I did push I'm sorry about that. I know all too well what position Kevin was in since I was there the week before and I too lost spots and if I remember right Kevin was on the inside like me and I backed off giving him room incase we would touch and crash. Anyway, I did the best I could and am sorry. As far as the race, it was nice to race someone trying to maintain pace but as luck woudl have it in this race and the ones prior is you end up in a spin at some point. Its like I can't feel and catch in time and I know for a fact when it does start to go, I can't recover. So as with all of these races, I spun at least 3 times and was gifted 3rd place. Rich blew the motor and Dave wrecked bad enough to bail out. I have to admit I really like this mod but it seems to me a lot of us are having some stability issues. So chalk it up we're feeling to confident and then out of the blue get bit hard.
Enough of that. Will work this out, hopefully. And glad to see Kevin has solved some problems making pace but is suffering from the stability issue as well. Will look forward to Indy. Some major speed/flow changes here. Not at all like Atlanta. Good luck fellas!

No worries Pat, just a racing deal. Dave and Mike behind us managed to pull it off going two wide through turn one. I agree that you can push these cars till all of a sudden it just goes, no transition stage. These cars feel great and drive great for the most part but from an overall league close racing I feel the Simtek cars were better, we seem to get very spread out with the Studio 397 cars.

Great fun for an hour in these cars. I really love them. Using the crew chief app Eric suggested several races back, it really helped me to know my fuel at any time during the race. It would give me per lap & also laps I'd be short by at the end of the race. I turned down fuel to 1 mid race and had 1/2 a gallon at the end. Not pitting made the difference. Tires were meds that had plenty left in them at the end. Congrats to Tom.
Also with this app I feel way more comfortable side by side as it is quite adept at telling me if I've got room or not.
